PORNOGRAPHY – Seeing It for What It Truly Is

Before freedom can begin, you must first come into truth.

Many people are not free, not because they don’t love God, but because they have not clearly understood what they are dealing with. Pornography thrives where there is confusion, silence, and wrong understanding.

The world has made it look normal. It is now easily accessible, widely accepted, and often defended. But as believers, we do not define truth by what is common—we define truth by the Word of God.

Isaiah 5:20 (KJV)

“Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness…”

Pornography is not harmless. It is a trap.

A trap does not look dangerous at first—it looks appealing. It looks easy. It looks satisfying. But its goal is to capture, control, and keep a person bound.

What begins as curiosity can become a habit.

What begins as a habit can become a dependency.

And what becomes a dependency can begin to control your life.

This is how the trap works—slowly and subtly.

Proverbs 14:12 (KJV)

“There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.”

At the beginning, it may not look serious. You may even feel in control. But over time, it begins to affect your thoughts, your desires, and your choices.

That is why many people say, “I will stop,” but find themselves going back again.

It is not just about willpower—it is because they are already inside a cycle.

But here is the truth:

What you clearly see, you can begin to come out of.

God is not exposing this to condemn you—He is exposing it to free you.

Light is the beginning of freedom.

John 8:32 (KJV)

“And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”

Today is not yet about doing many things.

It is about seeing clearly.

You must stop excusing it.

You must stop reducing it.

You must stop hiding it.

Call it what it is—a trap.

Because until you recognize the trap, you will keep walking into it.

Every deception that has hidden the reality of this trap—be broken now!

Lord, open my eyes to see clearly!

Every covering of darkness over my understanding, be removed in Jesus’ name!

I reject every lie, every excuse, and every false comfort!

From today, I step into light, and I begin my journey to freedom!
