WISDOM SERIES

In the journey of faith, God never designed His children to walk alone. He places believers within spiritual families and under the guidance of servants He has called to shepherd His people. This is what we call spiritual covering—a place where you are guided, nurtured, corrected, and protected as you grow in your walk with God.

Spiritual covering is not bondage; it is divine structure. Just as sheep need a shepherd, believers need spiritual leadership to help them remain aligned with the will and purpose of God. Under a covering, there is counsel when you are confused, correction when you are drifting, and encouragement when you are weary. It is a place where grace flows, wisdom is imparted, and spiritual battles are not fought alone.

However, being under a covering is not only about what you receive spiritually. It is also about the responsibility to be a blessing to the work of God and to the servant of God who labors over your soul.

Those who feed you spiritually deserve honor and support. Ministry requires sacrifice, time, prayer, and dedication. When believers remain committed and become a blessing carnally (in practical and material ways), they help sustain the work of God and strengthen the hands of those leading them.

Scripture teaches this clearly in Galatians 6:6:

“Let him who is taught the word share in all good things with him who teaches.”

Supporting your spiritual covering is not merely tradition—it is a biblical principle. When people stand faithfully with the ministry that feeds them, the work of God flourishes, and the blessing returns to them.

Therefore, it is important not only to find a genuine spiritual covering, but also to stay planted there. Growth takes time. Fruitfulness requires consistency. When people move from place to place without commitment, they miss the depth of what God intends to build in them.

A planted believer grows, matures, and becomes fruitful. They receive spiritual nourishment and, in return, become a blessing—spiritually, physically, and materially—to the house where God has placed them.

When this balance exists, the church becomes strong, the servant of God is encouraged, and the people themselves walk in greater grace and stability.

Remain planted. Grow under your covering. And be a blessing to the work of God.
