WORD FEAST

WORD FEAST
POSITIONED FOR WHAT IS AHEAD
DAY 5
Being positioned is not only about waiting, obeying, and remaining consistent; it is also about readiness of heart for fulfillment. Many pray for what is ahead but are unprepared for when it arrives. God does not only position us to receive; He positions us to carry. What He brings will rest on who you have become while waiting. “Prepare to meet thy God” is not a warning alone; it is an invitation to readiness. This year, may your heart be ready for what your prayers have been asking for.
Fulfillment often exposes motives. Some desire the promise more than the Promiser, the result more than the responsibility. But God prepares vessels before He pours new wine. “Who then is a faithful and wise servant?” Readiness is proven in humility, teachability, and reverence. When doors open, may pride not disqualify you. When answers come, may gratitude guard your heart. What is ahead will require character as much as faith.
Positioning also involves discernment in the moment of manifestation. Not every opportunity is divine, and not every open door is yours to enter. Timing matters. “To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.” God may answer, but He still leads. May excitement not override discernment. May haste not replace obedience. The same God who told you to wait will tell you when to move fully.
When fulfillment comes, it often attracts attention, pressure, and new demands. If identity is not rooted, success can become a burden. But God positions His people so that what He gives does not destroy them. “Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies.” God prepares you before He presents you. This year, may you be strong enough to stand where God lifts you, and grounded enough to remain dependent on Him.
Finally, remember this: positioning is not about arrival alone; it is about stewardship after arrival. God fulfills promises so His glory can be revealed through your life. What is ahead is not just for you; it is for impact. “For from him, and through him, and to him, are all things.” May your life point back to Him when the promise speaks.
I pray for you: may your heart be ready for fulfillment, not just expectant. May humility clothe you, discernment guide you, and gratitude anchor you. When God brings you into what is ahead, may you not lose the posture that brought you there. May readiness preserve your testimony, and may stewardship multiply what God places in your hands.
And I pray Lord, as You bring Your people into what You have prepared, prepare them inwardly. Align their hearts with Your glory, steady their steps in moments of elevation, and keep them dependent on You. Let fulfillment not replace intimacy, and let success not silence obedience. May what You release this year produce fruit that honors Your name. Amen.
